Here’s some information about some of the products and services we offer that you will hopefully find useful during the year.
The SCU Students Association operates THE SHOP, next to the canteen in F Block and offers the same member discounts as those you can get at the little bus stop outlet. But it’s even better because THE SHOP offers all kinds of things and is a great resource for students and staff alike, offering unbeatable prices for funky second hand clothes (stock changes every Tuesday), phone and recharge cards, drinks, biscuits, lollies, CDs, DVDs, stamps and stationery, batteries, cameras and film, jewellery, incense, scented candles, soap, beautiful Indian fabrics and cushion covers … and heaps more … all at very friendly prices. Pop round, say g’day to John and Benita and see what THE SHOP has to offer.

The Print & Copy Shop - services include internet access (free for members), scanning, DVD/CD burns, computer editing and tutorials, badge-making, colour printing, photocopying, binding, laminating and fax services.
And there’s the CHEC campus bar – THE AQUARIUM – we’re planning a great time for you with excellent events – regular poker and pool comp evenings, Duncan’s $5 Wednesday yummy meal deals, themed nights – a new pool table arrives next week, new tunes on the jukebox, footy live on the big screen TV … and heaps more!

EFTPOS HAS ARRIVED!!!
EFTPOS with cashout facilities has arrived @ CHEC. Staff @ the SA Shop, F Block next to the canteen, will be happy to help you Monday to Friday from 8.15am to 4.00pm. Here’s the deal:
- CREDIT CARD – minimum purchase $25 – no extra surcharge
- EFTPOS with purchase - $5 minimum purchase – 50c surcharge for non-members, FREE for blue and yellow card members, FREE for purchases over $25
- EFTPOS cashout only - $20 minimum/$30maximum - $2 surcharge for non-members, 50c for blue and yellow card members
Also, check out the Shop for OPTUS, VIRGIN, PHONEAWAY, GOTALK etc recharge and phonecards, CDs, DVDs, second hand clothing (stock changes every Tuesday), beautiful Indian fabrics, cushion covers, incense, candles, perfume – heaps of stuff – also a selection of confectionery and beverages at student-friendly prices.
